International Data Spaces Association is a global network of organizations and experts dedicated to creating a trusted data ecosystem where data is shared securely and under the control of the data owner. As a key contributor to the European Data Strategy, IDSA provides frameworks, standards, and open-source components enabling secure and sovereign data exchange across sectors.
Role in LICORICE
In the LICORICE project, IDSA contributes its specialized knowledge in building trusted and secure data ecosystems. IDSA plays a key role in ensuring that the project's tools and solutions align with European standards and frameworks—particularly those developed by the Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC) and Data Spaces Business Alliance (DSBA). By applying its expertise in interoperability, data governance, and technical architecture, IDSA helps make LICORICE’s innovations both practical and adaptable. This increases their chances of being adopted across sectors, ensures compliance with privacy regulations, and positions them as strong candidates for future standardization within the EU’s digital strategy.
